PC Security Glazing

Sheffield Plastics Inc., a Bayer MaterialScience Company has introduced MAKROLON HYGARD MS1250 which complies with the requirement of UL752 Level 6 ballistic rating (high speed 9mm Uzi). MAKROLON HYGARD MS1250 is the newest addition to Sheffield Plastics' high performance Security and Detention product line which includes four containment grade/ forced entry products tested to HP White TP0500.02 and ASTM F1233 plus four ballistic rated laminates specified as UL752 Level 1, 2, 3, and 6.

MAKROLON HYGARD MS1250 offers protection in high level ballistic security applications and is a superior alternative to glass laminate products at approximately half of the weight. MAKROLON HYGARD Glazing Sheets also feature a hard coated surface which provides enhanced protection against abrasion, UV degradation chemical attack and graffiti.
