Curbell Names Plaskolite
as Vendor of the Year
Curbell Plastics, Inc. named Plaskolite, Inc. as this year's
"Vendor of the Year". Every year, Curbell chooses the vendor
with whom they have shared the greatest overall compatibility
throughout the year. Curbell's vendors are rated
by the sales team and given a score based on specific criteria
including effective communication with Curbell, competitive
pricing, overall product quality and field support.
Over the past few years, Curbell and Plaskolite
have worked
diligently in
keeping their
relationship
strong, thus
providing the
opportunity
for continued growth by both companies. "This year,
Plaskolite exemplified the strategic relationship by effectively
working with our business in meeting the customer’s
needs," said Donald Harvey, Director of
Operations.
A&C Plastics introduced the
newest member of their Sales
Team, Aaron Byers. Byers will use
his 14 years of inside sales experience
in the plastics industry to
help expand A&C’s client base.
Westlake Plastics announced
the addition of Harvey Stein, as a
Medical and
Life Sciences
consultant. Stein comes to
Westlake Plastics with an impressive
background and is a recognized
industry technical expert
on Ultra High Molecular Weight
Polyethylene (UHMW-PE).
Stein will utilize his extensive
technical and engineering experience
in conjunction with Westlake’s
product development, quality assurance, manufacturing
and technical support activities.
Following their recent one year anniversary,
Optiglass has added David Ruff as the new Operations
Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio. He will oversee the production
of Optiglass’ polycarbonate products, OptiClear
and OptiMar. Ruff has worked in the industry for over
10 years.
Over the next year, Richard Filiault, Optiglass
President, plans on expanding production to North
Carolina, adding tinted polycarbonate to his product line
and will concentrate on toll-coating for
other polycarbonate manufacturers.
PremierMaterial Concepts (PMC),
a division of Rowmark LLC, is proud
to announce the appointment of
Roger Jean to Vice President of
Custom Sales & Technology.
Jean comes to PMC with over ten
years of sales and market development
experience in the plastics resins and thermoforming markets.
