Planer for Plastics
The German woodworking machinery company, MARTIN
has developed a planer designed for the processing of
plastics. Specific machine options such as a vacuum table
for the processing of thin material, a zinc-coated dust collection
shroud
to reduce static
and a cutterhead
with an 18° hook
angle are
designed into
the MARTIN T45
planer. MARTIN also offers its T45 Contour planer with
these options, which allows for the profiling of plastic
material up to 24” wide with a 1” depth of cut.
