U.S. Manufacturing Facility
Multilax International announced that it is now building
machines in Grand Rapids, Michigan. “The addition of U.S.
manufacturing enables us to better serve the global market,
as well as combine Italian engineering with American
manufacturing,” said Ed Gauthier, Managing Director of
Multiax International.
Multiax has been marketing their products in North
America for the past ten years but now is able to better
respond to the price, delivery and service
requirements of their North
American customer base. The
company will continue its
engineering and manufacturing
in Pordenone,
Italy as well. “With
design, engineering and
manufacturing capabilities in both Grand Rapids and
Pordenone, we are now truly a global company, poised to
provide industry with the finest in CNC router technology
world wide,” Gauthier stated.
Multiax International President Darin De Clark said that
he is very pleased with the progress that has been made
since Multiax began building machines in Grand Rapids
last July. He went on to say, “This move allows us to provide
greater support for our North American customers
and provide them with an American made product with
world class quality and innovation to help them be competitive
in today’s emerging markets.”
