Mixed Sheet Orders

A new BOLT-A-PACK™ program enables distributors to place minimum orders of 250 lbs. (113 kg) of Boltaron thermoplastic sheet in mixed colors and gauges by 11:00 a.m. EST for same day shipment, it was announced by John Shade, Director of Operations.

The program applies to Boltaron's 4335 grade of impact resistant, fire rated sheet in 4' x 8' ft (122 x 244 cm) size with Haircell texture, in any combination of black, white, beige and/or gray colors, and any combination of gauges from .047 to .250 in. (1.19 to 6.35 mm).

“The BOLT-A-PACK program is the first quick-ship stocking program offered among competing sheet producers that allows mixing of colors as well as well gauges, and that defines minimum orders by combined weight instead of by number of sheets, providing distributors and their customers with greater flexibility,” says Shade. Boltaron 4335 sheet is a proprietary, PVC/Acrylic alloy with a UL 94 V-0 rating, that offers broad chemical resistance, Izod Impact resistance of 18 ft lbs/in (954 J/m) and other outstanding properties. The sheet is engineered for thermoformed and fabricated components of medical device enclosures, electronic equipment housings, kiosks, store fixtures, displays and other end products intended for demanding environments.

It is non-hygroscopic, eliminating the time and cost associated with pre-drying of other thermoplastics, and readily formable within a range of 335 to 370°F (168 to 185°C), allowing the sheet to draw over sharp corners and into deep recesses while maintaining uniform wall thicknesses.

When ordered for standard delivery, Boltaron 4335 sheet is offered in gauges from .028 to .250 in. (0.71 to 6.35 mm), widths to 60 in. (1524 mm), lengths to 120 in. (3048 mm) and in custom sizes, in unlimited textures including Felt (FT), Haircell (HC), Mesa (MS), Sand (SA), Suede (SD), Velvet (VT) and Coarse Matte (CM).

The company produces over 50 grades of PVC, CPVC and PVC/Acrylic sheet in gauges from .003 to 3.0 inch (.076 to 76.2 mm) for aircraft and mass transit interiors, equipment enclosures, corrosion resistant parts, general thermoformed parts, clean rooms, semi-conductor manufacturing equipment, building products, institutional wall covering and other demanding applications.
