Industrial Plastic Recycling Program

Optiglass PC, a plastic sheet and film supplier, announced the launch of bGREEN, a nationwide, full service industrial plastic recycling program for polycarbonate and acrylic sheet drop and scrap.

The bGREEN program is being launched to provide users of industrial plastic with an environmentally friendly and cost-effective way to recycle plastic sheet drop and scrap.

“We are all looking for a way to reduce our carbon footprint and going green is a great way to start. We have received a very strong response to our recycling program and are excited to be playing our part in taking care of the environment” commented Rick Filiault, President of Optiglass PC.

Participation in the bGREEN recycling program begins with Optiglass PC’s industrial plastic waste recycling team routinely dropping gaylord containers at the client’s facility. Once filled, these containers are routinely swapped out, either on-demand or through a scheduled replacement cycle. The waste material is then brought to Optiglass PC’s facility where it is weighed, segregated and inventoried until processed. A settlement report is then sent to the client with gross and net weights. Participants of bGREEN are issued a check within 30 business days.
