Premier Material Concepts (PMC)
welcomed Perry Bauer as
Upper Midwest Region Sales
Manager. Bauer’s sales territory will
include Illinois, Wisconsin,
Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas,
North Dakota, South Dakota and
Winnipeg/Manitoba, Canada. Bauer
brings an extensive background in
the plastics
and thermforming
industries. Bauer will be
headquartered out of his office in
Columbia Heights, Minnesota.
PMC also welcomed Lola Carere
as the new Sales Manager in the
Eastern Sales Region. Carere’s sales
territory will include New York,
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware,
Maryland and the New England
states. Carere has an extensive
sales, purchasing and production control background in
the plastics and thermoforming industries.
Ensinger announced the addition
of Beverly Diffendal as Medical
Customer Service Representative.
Diffendal will work with distributors
on medical applications for plastics
and manage
the new direct
medical telephone
line.
Ensinger also
appointed Dan
Bertovich as Manufacturing Man -
ager. Bertovich will be responsible
for managing Production, Quality Control, Warehouse, Facility
Maintenance,
Engineering and Project Management.
Finally, Allyson Crouse has been
named Technical Resource/Lab Manager. She will be responsible for managing
the laboratory and testing,
assuring Certificates of Compliance
for customers, and fielding technical
questions.
Interstate Plastics announced the opening of their new
Los Angeles branch, located in Downey, California. Mike
McKenna, the recently hired resident Outside Sales Rep,
has been promoted to Branch Manager to run the facility.
McKenna will be responsible for building a staff and is
expected to be open for business in mid April.
Interstate also announced the hiring of John Schwenck
as their new National Sales Manager. Schwenck has 30
years of experience and vast knowledge in both plastics
manufacturing and distribution. And Interstate added
Christi Widener as a Resident Sales Rep in the Atlanta
area. Widener has a unique knowledge of the medical market
as well as selling industrial mechanical plastics.
Ken Wolf joins Colonial Saw
Company as Vice President of
Operations. Wolf brings extensive
knowledge in machinery maintenance,
engineering and new product
development, along with his experience
managing customer service.
EMP SA, manufacturer of advanced Poly carbonate sheets and
systems, announced the appointment
of Kurt Glaser as Managing Director of CO-EX Corporation (CT, USA) effective immediately.
“We expect the business to gain momentum with
Kurt’s leadership,” said Enzo Piarulli of EMP SA,
Switzerland. “His deep business experience, passion for
serving customers and impressive track record of delivering
innovation, global execution and results will take our
business to the next level.” Glaser joined CO-EX Corp. USA
last year as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Marcy Offner, Marketing Manager at Composites One in
Arlington Heights, Illinois, was
honored by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) with the Outstanding Volunteer award at the
Awards Luncheon at COMPOSITES
2011. Presented at the
largest composites event in
North America, this industry
award recognizes any ACMA
member who has contributed
significant volunteer time and
effort to achieve positive results
on behalf of the industry
through service to the association.

Foust Marketing, Inc. announced
the addition of Kathleen Ackerly.
She will be based in The Woodlands,
TX area and will concentrate on
developing sales and specifications
with key products and markets in the
region. She brings industry knowledge
