E&T Plastics announced the appointment of Pam Aungst to the
newly created position of ECommerce
Manager. Aungst is
responsible for all facets of E&TÕs
online marketing efforts, including
the corporate website, blog, publicity,
social media presence and creation
of a new online store. The
online store is expected to debut in
mid-2012.
Chase Plastics hired Stephen Bruno as account manager
for its Con nec ti cut, Long Island and upstate New York
region. Bruno, a 20-year veteran of the thermoplastics
industry, will spearhead ChaseÕs effort to assist OEMs and
processors in developing quality, cost-effective thermoplastic
solutions that improve existing manufacturing
processes while reducing overhead costs.
Vycom announced that Chris Paas
has joined the Vycom team as
Director of Sales & Marketing. In
this capacity, Paas is responsible for
leading and managing all aspects of
Vycom field sales force and marketing
activities.
Harvel¨ Plastics, Inc. President Patrick
Foose
has
received the highest honor given by
the International Association of
Plastics Distribution (IAPD) for his
contributions to the industry and to
the association.
Foose was presented with the 2011
Paul Davis Award of Merit at the IAPDÕs Annual
Convention and Expo in Baltimore, Maryland. He was
selected based on his work as former IAPD Board of
Directors President, where he served as the first plastics
manufacturer representative to hold the position.
Primex Plastics Corporation
named Matt Vandivier Application
Development Coordinator to work in
conjunction with Commercial Development in an effort to expand their
value added product line. Vandivier
will also help coordinate efforts at
the Primex New Product
Development Center based in
Richmond, Indiana.
Norplex-Micarta announced the promotion of Tony
Mueller
to the position of Customer Service Representative at the companyÕs Postville, Iowa headquarters.
Mueller has succeeded Jerry Regan who was promoted
to the marketing department.
Palram Americas announced the
addition of Jimmy Torres to its
inside sales
team. Torres
will primarily
assist customers
in the
West Coast
and Canada.
Palram also
announced the
addition of JR
Schwarz
to its
inside sales team. Schwarz will be
responsible for working with distributors
and manufacturers in the metal
building products and agricultural
markets.
Ršchling Machined Plastics
announced that Bob Healy
has accepted the position as General Manager in Mt.
Pleasant, Pennsylvania, reporting directly to Lewis Carter.
Healy has been with Ršchling since April 2010 as a
Market Development Specialist, where his focus was on
developing and securing new business opportunities in
specific strategic markets such as medical, food processing,
conveyor and wind power.
Effective January 2012, Fredy Hiltmann is to be appointed
as a new member of the Executive Board of SIMONA
AG. Hiltmann will oversee the area
of Corporate Finance (Chief
Financial Officer).

King Plastic Corporation announced that Josh Wehrli of JW
Innovations has joined the company
as a new independent sales representative.
He will be covering CO,
AZ, NV, WY, and NE. Wehrli brings
12 years of experience in plastic distribution
and five years experience
in plastic manufacturing.
KBA, Inc. announced that Rob
Byard
joined their sales team in an outside sales position. He resides in North Georgia and
comes with five years of industrial
background experience plus having
worked with KBA previously. His
responsibilities will include establishing
relationships and servicing
the distributor, OEMÕs and end-user
accounts.
