Sinclair Acquires PWT

Sinclair Equipment Company, the California manufacturer of heat sealing machinery for the industrial fabrics industry, has announced an expansion of its business with the acquisition of PWT International. PWT International has been a leading equipment manufacturer to the geosynthetics market as well as the rigid plastics and roofing industries.

The acquisition has established Sinclair Equipment Company as the exclusive North American distributor of products for the German manufacturer MUNSCH Kunstsoff-Schweisstechnik GmbH. MUNCSH is a world leader in extrusion welding tools with an extensive line up for the rigid plastics and geo industry among others. Key personnel from PWT International have joined the team at Sinclair Equipment Company including the former General Manager Greg Yaple. At Sinclair, Yaple will provide a leading role as Geo & Rigid Plastics Sales Manager and Technical Representative. Coordinating with the current Sinclair sales team, Yaple will provide experience and resources to continue customer service efforts to both United States customers as well as established international partners.
