Plaskolite Acquires Profile Lighting Business

Plaskolite, LLC, North America’s largest manufacturer of plastic sheet products, announced that it has acquired Rotuba Extruders, Inc.’s profile lighting business. Rotuba is the leader in the Custom Extruded Profile segment of the lighting industry. As a part of the transaction, Plaskolite is acquiring Rotuba’s manufacturing operations in Linden, New Jersey.

Plaskolite’s acquisition of the Rotuba Profiles Lighting business expands Plaskolite’s already thriving Profiles business and positions the company as the clear leader in the Profiles Lighting segment. Adam Bell, Rotuba’s President, will stay on to lead the Plaskolite Rotuba Profiles business.

“Rotuba has been extruding custom profiles for more than 60 years and is the leading supplier in the LED Lighting segment. With this acquisition, Plaskolite will employ 1,100 people in nine North American locations.
