Polyolefin Spotlight
Polymer Sheets
Founded in 1968, King Plastic Corporation is a leading manufacturer of quality polymer sheets, slabs and massive shapes including several products pioneered by the company. King Plastic Corporation pioneered the first marine-grade polymer sheet, King StarBoard®, which remains the dominant brand in the marine industry today. Its innovative products, combined with its customers’ imaginations, have led to the creation of entirely new categories of polymer sheet products.
King Plastic polymers are manufactured in the U.S. and sold worldwide through a network of top plastics distributors to customers who fabricate products for the marine industry (King StarBoard® Family of Products), signage (King ColorCore®, the multi-color engravable polymer sheet), food service (King CuttingBoard® Family of Products, solid and lightweight natural polyethylene and solid, color-coded cutting board sheets, both FDA approved and certified by the NSF), healthcare (King MediGrade®, antimicrobial polymer building sheet for healthcare applications), architectural (King StarBoard® ST), industrial (King Hy-Pact®, the super tough industrial polymer sheet) and many more product brands. The company headquarters is a 250,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in North Port, Florida.

Polyolefin Sheet
iPoly inc. is an innovative manufacturer of sustainable, high performance plastics designed to boost end-user profitability in a wide range of industries. Their materials service the industrial, agriculture, and commercial markets.
iPoly produces compression molded grade sheet. If you are looking for high impact and low coefficient of friction, their Mach1 UHMPE™ (Ultra-High Mechanical Polyethylene) is a workhorse in the industry. It combines exceptional wear, low friction, corrosion resistance and impact strength in a cost-effective sheet that excels in every industry. The sheet utilizes an AAF™ matrix (Accelerated Anti-Friction) which guarantees high wear performance. Mach1 retains key physical properties in sub-zero temperatures and is resistant to chemical attack. Key features include; high impact resistance, self-lubricating, chemical resistant, food grade resin, abrasion resistant, and a standard UV package.
Sani-Armor Premium HDPE has been formulated to be the easiest sheet to weld, bend and machine. It is a great option for a wide range of applications, from packaging and manufacturing to recreation and equipment components. It includes a machinable poly-masking for a scratch-free finish. The sheet is also engineered to withstand full sun and outdoor use. During their manufacturing process, they not only add Ultraviolet blocking agents to prevent resin breakdown by light sources (such as the sun or lighting fixtures), they also add a formulated, engineered pigmentation that resists fading. This ensures the HDPE sheet is thoroughly stabilized inside and out, to provide years of high performance under full sunlight and in high moisture environments.
Sani-Armor Premium HDPE sheets are available in sizes up to 1/2” thick in 9 standard, in-stock house colors. They also offer Army Green, Bison Brown and Safety Orange (DOT Spec.) on quick turnaround. Color match production runs are commonplace. Their in-stock materials include smooth and textured finishes.
