Straight Line Bending
Fabrication Tools and Materials, Inc. released their new 56000 series Complete Heating Systems for straight line bending thermal plastics. These new systems are available in three sizes, 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" for materials from .040" - .500" thick. The 56000 models are redesigned from the ground up and offer some great new features. These new features include the all new QTC44 Advanced Touch Quad Control, designed with the features most requested by the fabricators who use them, like a Max Heat button, improved timer controls, a cooler running circuit board, and a Capacitive Touch Keypad, just to name a few. The 56000 Models have a brand new frame kit, a Unistrut Rail System with a larger 56􀀀 x 48􀀀 working area, quick release cam clamp tray locks, material support with stops, integrated frame stops and a new leg kit.

The Unistrut Rail System is a patent pending design that uses a unique alignment plate that fits with the rails and allows the four heating trays and New Material Support/Stop to move easily, lock securely, and aids in squaring. The system’s foot print is virtually unchanged, the larger working area is due to the intergrading split fence design. The integrated frame stops allow more flexibility in an ergonomic design. The 14-gauge sheet metal legs are strong, ridged, and the perfect weight to keep the system in place, yet light enough the heating system can be easily moved when needed.
