Edge Lit Cast Acrylic
Plaskolite LLC, North America’s largest manufacturer of thermoplastic sheet products, announced the launch of OPTIX EL an edge-lit continuous cast acrylic sheet for the sign and graphics industry. When lit from the side with LED lights, embedded light diffusing particles cause the light to diffuse forward for bright, uniform illumination. There is no need for surface etching, engraving or printing to achieve a bright, evenly lit surface.

Stemming from the 2018 acquisition of the Lucite International continuous cast acrylic sheet business, Plaskolite continues to expand its portfolio and leadership position in the sign and graphics industry with a new inhouse innovation ideally suited for applications incorporating LED edge lighting.
