Off to a Great Start?
The year was off
to a great start
for the plastic’s
industry. By the time
you read this we will
be several weeks from
the beginning of our
worldwide battle with
the coronavirus
(COVID-19). While this
virus is impacting
almost every aspect of
our lives, we will persevere
and, hopefully, be stronger
from it as a country and international
community.
When things do ramp up again,
plastic shapes will continue to provide
new solutions, led in part by
innovations in some of the materials
and products you will find in this
issue. Distributors and fabricators
also have incredible machinery and
tooling available to them to create
parts and assemblies that will meet
the changing needs of their customers.
We kick off with our See-
Through Plastics PLUS
spotlight.
With more to offer than ever
before, these materials are found in
applications from architectural
glazing and P.O.P. displays to aerospace
and medical devices, there is
almost nothing these plastics can’t
do. Again, this year our spotlight
offers a mix of materials, machinery,
polishes, hardware and tooling
for working with these versatile
plastics.
Next up, our Saws & Tooling
spotlight features some of the best
options available to plastic distributors
and fabricators today. From
high precision horizontals to space
saving verticals, these saws offer
increased output and accuracy at a
variety of price points and configurations
to meet your production
needs. When it comes to saw
blades that run faster, cut
smoother and provide a great edge
finish, we have those too.
Finally, in Safety Solutions Jack provides you with information from OSHA regarding Interim Guidance to Help Prevent Worker Exposure to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We hope that you, your family,
friends and coworkers stay well and
that business returns to normal
soon. Click here to find more materials, machinery, products and services that
will help you find new opportunities
this year. You can also click here to manage your subscription
