NEW DISTRIBUTOR STOCKING PROGRAM
HPG International, manufacturer of Versadur extruded sheet products, announced its new distributor stocking program of Versadur 570 natural and 590 black copolymer polypropylene sheet. The copolymer PP offers increased impact strength, as much as 6 times greater than homopolymer PP and twice that of high-density polyethylene. The product delivers comparable temperature, stiffness and tensile strength properties and copolymer PP outperforms standard homopolymer products in low temperature impact. Natural and black copolymer PP have found acceptance by fabricators of large, self-supporting acid storage tanks and in areas of high traffic where standard PP may not be appropriate. The addition of black pigment in the sheet increases the UV resistance of the finished product.
