"Coburn's newest family of decoratively functional pressure sensitive films, based on the Fresnel lens principal, has captured the imagination of printers, designers, manufacturers and virtually all involved in graphic arts and high visual impact applications," stated John A. Initially intended as an extension to the company's extensive line of decorative facings for signage, visual merchandising, POP/display applications, tags and labels, it has recently found wide acceptance in the areas of functional interior design. In its translucent (non metallized) version it becomes an ideal "privacy shield" for shower stalls, glass office partitions and other areas where a semblance of privacy is desired without creating a confined atmosphere. And, in respect to demand, a new 6" diameter pattern has joined the existing four lens sizes. All are available in eighteen metallic colors (including fluorescents) or their translucent counterparts, all available in 24" (61 cm) wide rolls, or factory sheeted or slit, it is conventionally printed for a depth illusion effect, can be die cut (even thermally) and is non flammable (self extinguishing) by chemical composition.
