PLASTIC WELDING BROCHURE
Sonobond Ultrasonics has published a full-color brochure that features its SureWeld line of ultrasonic plastic welders. Available in 20, 35 and 70 kHz models, these machines can bond plastic to plastic, plastic to synthetic fabrics and films, and can insert metal parts, such as threaded inserts into plastic. The welders feature rectangular support columns to eliminate deflection and deliver uniform bonding over the entire weldment, built-in leveling plate, and a "T"-slot and toe clamps to hold the workpiece securely. All units allow for easy removal and replacement of converter/booster/ horn assembly. Power supplies can be attached to the side, mounted separately, or integrated within the unit. Microprocessor-controlled PCS power options provide additional control of the weld time, energy and distance; allowing storage and recall of multiple weld protocols; and transfer data to a printer or computer.
