Precision Cross Cut Saws
A new line of dedicated cut-off saws that let manufacturers take longer rip cuts from a horizontal saw and send them to a cross cut saw to increase production without sacrificing scoring or length tolerances, is being introduced by Hendrick.
Hendrick USA-Series Cross Cut Saws are dedicated to cut-off operations and have totally concealed blades, two adjustable flip stops, and a full length pneumatic hold-down. Featuring tolerances to ±0.005" and adjustable cut lengths up to 50", depending upon model, they are offered with manual or PC controllers, automatic pusher indexing systems, and material grippers.
The saws can work in conjunction with a panel saw to create a semi-automatic angular system. Providing a small 118" x 194" footprint, depending upon model, they have a 7.5 HP main blade motor, 1.25 HP carriage motor, and provide up to a 12" deep cut. Standard features include front and back feed tables, safety beams, cover interlocks, and emergency stop switches.
