CNC Programming Software

BOBCAD-CAM™ released Version 18.0 with a broad range of features to enhance CNC programming. The new version provides complete 32 bit programming with increased accuracy and long file names. Multiple windows allow the user to work on more than one drawing at a time or to view and draw a 3-D part from different angles simultaneously. Dynamic rotation in 2-D and 3-D is another new capability.

The software now supports Object-Action drawing mode while maintaining ease of use through its well thought-out interface. Ordinate dimensioning also expands BOBCAD's Dimensioning capabilities. The number of uncommon controllers supported has also been increased. Users can now choose their own icons, which can be docked.

A basic interface has been added that allows users to record actions and sequences and modify them before playing them back. Now users can write enhancements or customize programs that interface directly with BOBCAD.
