Hydraulic Extrusion Welder
WEGENER North America introduced their new Hydro Beta hydraulic extrusion welder to North America at the recent AWS/DVS Thermoplastic Welding Conference in New Orleans, LA. Suitable for welding a wide range of thermoplastics, the hydraulic drive offers extremely low operation noise and 24/7 operation without any maintenance concerns. It includes safety features like cold start protection for both air and extrudate and a single, dual channel controller with extrudate and preheat temperature display. Smoothest performance provides for quality welds with excellent cosmetics. The machine accepts a range of welding rod sizes and its variable speed and light weight make it easy to handle. It accepts all of WEGENER's standard welding shoes and their optional 'Twisty'.

WEGENER manufactures a full line of thermoplastic fabrication equipment including hand and extrusion welding systems, AC and DC spark testers and sheet butt welders and benders. The company has DVS certified welders on staff who provide customized welder training.
