King Plastic Corporation, a manufacturer of quality
polymer sheets, slabs and massive shapes, has added
Lynn Munz, a customer service professional with more
than 10 years of experience, to its inside sales team.
Ensinger announced the appointment of Fred Mooers
as the Process Industries Specialist for the newly established
Americas Business Development Group.
The Process Industries will encompass strategic markets
and applications such as oil & gas exploration, fuel cells
and chemical processing equipment.

Plastic Solutions, Inc. announced it has been appointed
Manufacturer’s Representatives for Atlas Fibre,
Skokie, Illinois. Atlas Fibre is a supplier of thermoset rod,
sheet and tube to the plastics distribution industry.
Al Weymiller, Plastics Northwest, announced the return
of Mark Fiebig to their sales team. Fiebig’s responsiblities
will be outside sales in the states of Washington, Oregon,
Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Alaska and Western
Canada.
Wegener North America, Inc. recently hosted DVS
(German Welding Society) welding classes with optional certification.
The instructor
was a CWT from
SKZ-ToP GmbH,
an internationally
recognized
organization in
the training of
polymer processing
technologies.
Participating companies
included
thermoplastic sheet and pipe manufacturers, distributors
and fabricators from across the US and Canada. Veteran
welders, company owners, engineers,
supervisors and rookies worked side
by side to make most of the in-depth
knowledge offered by these courses
for hot gas hand welding and hot
gas extrusion welding. Each course
culminated in theoretical and practical
testing to obtain the official
DVS welder certificate and welder
ID card. One course was dedicated
to the recertification of previous
participants.

William M. Lowman has announced
his retirement as President and CEO
of CYRO Industries. Lowman has
been with CYRO since the company’s
inception in 1976 working in all
capacities from Sales Representative
to President and CEO in 2003.
Robert S. Wurst was named Interim
President of CYRO Industries. Wurst
will continue to carry on his duties as
the Chief Financial Officer of CYRO,
taking on the additional responsibilities
of President until a new President
is appointed.
