Sheet Welder Added to Product Line

Ritmo America LLC added the new POLYFUSION 10 sheet welder to its wide product line of band saws, extrusion welders, pipe fusion and fittings fabrication equipment.

The POLYFUSION 10 welds PE, PP, PVC and PVDF sheets by butt fusion. The machine is designed according to the D.V.S. 2208 standard and is able to weld by butt fusion in accordance with the D.V.S. 2207. It is also easily programmable with any other welding standard/welding parameters.

Sheets can have a maximum width of 10 feet, with thickness ranging between 1/8” and 1 1/2”. There are no length restrictions and the two sheets may have different thickness.

POLYFUSION 10 performs three different fusions: plane butt welding; circular welding (for making tubes and/or cylinders) and angular welding (sheets welded at 90° angle).

The welding machine is automatically operated by an industrial computer that is programmed to follow the poly fusion cycle. It is capable of estimating pressure, time and temperature according to the sheet material that is being joined. Welding data can be stored or printed in reports. Thanks to an LCD monitor, touch-screen technology and the highly specialized control software, POLYFUSION 10 offers constancy of welding quality, reliability and simplicity in use.
