CNC TOOL TO INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY

ShopBot's WorkShop RoBots bring automated 3-D control of routers, drills or other tools to market for under $5000. ShopBot's robust design stands up to the rigors of the commercial shop. The system is ideal for cutting acrylics, polycarbonate, HDPE, phenolic and ABS.

Users can create cutting files using popular graphics programs, or take advantage of Vector, the 2D/3D CAD/CAM program included with the tool. ShopBot's proprietary control system and software provides full 3-D control and interfaces with all graphics programs exporting .dxf, .hpgl, .tif and g-code files.

With a rack and pinion drive system and 600 oz stepper motors, the tools offer .002" step resolution and repeatability and .015" overall accuracy in heavy cutting. The tools are offered in three standard sizes. The largest, PRT96, has a cutting area of 102" x 50" x 7" and is designed to fit a 4' x 8' sheet of material. Custom sizing to handle 5' x 10' sheet goods and other options are also available.
