HARD DUROMETER POLYURETHANE TUBING
Now available from NewAge® Industries is Superthane Hard Durometer, a special Shore A 95 hardness polyurethane tubing.
The flexible tubing can be used in pneumatic control systems, automated machinery and robotics, and sensing systems. Applications that call for multiple line identification-manifold connections, various fluid feeds, lubrication lines, and fluid circuitry-can take advantage of sixteen stocked colors.
Made from ether-based polyurethane, the tubing resists attack from moisture, humidity, and fungus. It is naturally flexible, meaning it does not contain plasticizers, which can leach out to cause tube hardening or flow contamination. It resists kinking, tearing, abrasion, weathering, and radiation exposure, and handles pressure and vacuum better than corresponding sizes of PVC or rubber.
Eleven opaque colors and five transparent colors are stocked. Sizes range from 1/8" through ½" O.D., and metric sizes are 6mm and 8mm O.D. Plastic or brass Newloc® push-to-connect fittings are also available in inch and metric sizes.
